             If you think someone doesn't have a chance, and you don't even give them the opportunity to take that chance, then how do you know that they won't make a difference if you don't give them the choice. Abortions kill millions of innocent babies yearly, are inhumane, and go against the Bible. In 54 countries (61% of the world) abortions are legal. 55% of abortions are from women younger than 26, and 21% are under the age of 18.
             The statistics of abortions are shocking. In the Revolutionary War, Civil War, World War I, World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam, there were a total of 1,110,563. But since 1973, a little over 35,000,000 have been aborted. That's 35 million babies who will never experience life or have the chance to make a difference. Today an average of 1,328,000 babies are aborted annually, car accident take only around 40,000 a year. 88% of abortions happen the first 6-12 weeks of pregnancy, and 43% of all women will have an abortion by the age of 45, that's almost half. Now that you know the shocking facts of abortion, I will tell you the methods that are used.
             The methods used to kill the babies are inhumane and just plain wrong. First there is Menstrual Extraction, which is a very early suction abortion, often done before the pregnancy test is positive. Next there is a procedure called Suction, in which a baby in the later stage of pregnancy is suck out of the womb. The procedure tears the baby's body into pieces. The placenta is then cut from the inner wall of the uterus and the scraps are sucked out into a bottle. The next three methods all have to do with dilatation. The first of the three is called Dilatation and Curettage; this is when the baby and the placenta are cut into pieces by a knife inserted up into the uterus.
