COCAINE

Cocaine is a product of the coca plant and is an illegal recreational drug. It is not a narcotic although it is referred to as one by the legal system. Cocaine is a strong stimulant, which produces increased activity of the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system. Cocaine addiction is found throughout the entire world. There are many reasons why people are addicted to cocaine. Unfortuantely everyone do es not always have the solution to fix their problems. When they don't they try their best to provide them with the most care that they can.There are many causes for the use and addiction to cocaine. Most of these reasons have to do with a sudden change in ones emotions and thoughts. When someone loses someone they know or love they usually mourn and stay depressed for awhile. That can cause major depression, which could cause cocaine use. Another thing that causes cocaine use is peer pressure. Teens see others doing drugs and try to fit it by doing whatever the "cool thing" to do is. Unfortunately in this day and age "the cool things" usually involve doing drugs, having sex, and getting into trouble. Today adolescent substance abuse is addressed by a number of peopl
