There are some problems that I foresee in the future of law enforcement but I do think that the field of justice will shift in the direction it needs to make to attack some problems that might become a problem in the future. Looking at the history of law enforcement throughout the ages has shown that the field has always been up to the challenge when it comes to fighting new problems that present themselves.
             One problem that I see for the future, which has already presented itself, is the problem with terrorist and homeland attacks. Since September 11th 2001 terrorist attacks there has been lots of talk of threats that might happen on other targets in the nation. There have been talks those big cities like Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago and New York may become targets of additional terrorist attacks. And with talks of the United States possibly going to war with Iraq and maybe other countries farther down the line (Iran, Korea?), there might be some concern that other terrorist groups will get involved if it means that they can inflict harm on the United States. I think police forces will have to take precautionary reasons to be prepared if there are attacks in this country. This problems could effect the US for years to come so that might be a concern for the Law enforcement field for today and farther down the line.
             Another problem facing Law Enforcement in the future is the high technology crime that seems to be getting bigger and bigger. Technology is getting better as time goes on and that is a important thing for a lot of people because it will effect how they live their lives, people can do almost anything on the internet, from paying their bills to grocery shopping for their families, but with this high technology comes criminals that know how to master it with great skill and take advantage of other people while they do it. This problem personally effected me late last year when around the Christmas shopping season so...
