How Important is our appearance
Today in society it seems that we are judged today on the way we look but not on the content of our character, perhaps the reason for this might be simply because this is the easiest thing to do. Even though most of us know, not to judge a book by it's cover, it sad to see that this is not always applied in the world we live in today. It seems that nearly every where in society you look today we are judged on our appearance, from a
child going to school all the way to a adult getting a job. The day when society learns to accept people by not their appearance but the content of their character is the day that people like momma can feel safe again. This is what momma had to go though in the movie, this is what prevented her from coming out in public, because it was embarrassing for her and she couldn't stand everyone making awful jokes about her and staring. When we all first saw the character in the movie, many of the views would have thought all the negatives about her, but as the movie goes on we see what a loving mother she is and how much she cares about her family, and suddenly most of us all thought what a great person she was, this is what we need to learn to do in society. A lot of people out there today always stride to make sure they look good no mater where they go, they seem to want to seek approval, and in most cases this is understandable as the world we live in today people judge you first by your appearance.
