Imagine the stress you feel when you're faced with more and more work everyday. You are already doing as much as you can when you suddenly have to do even more. We are facing the possibility of having more homework than ever and each year as we proceed the amount of work load only adds up. Some people think this will make us smarter and we'll do better on tests. Other people think this will only make students more stressed out and less able to enjoy their lives. The Westwood School District should definitely minimize the amount of homework we have to do each night. First of all, the Westwood School should decrease the amount of homework, because homework already takes up too much of our time. Their isn't enough time to do other things that intrest them. If we had more time to play, our brains would do better at learning. Kids spend time everyday at school being kids with their friends at lunch, breaks, and at recess. You can take the high road and create better educated students, or you can condemn them to a future of flipping burgers and washing cars. High schoolers have after school jobs, extra curriculiar activities they also participate in and with school after school on top one never has the free time.
