declaration of independence
The Declaration of Independence was a statement made by man directed towards fellow men that hold themselves to be in authority over other men. The statement the Declaration made was a major opinion that was not held common among many people of the time of its publication. Over time this Declaration would become the foundation for many people's idea for where government is made and how it should be dealt with. This revolutionary document, the Declaration of Independence, held several bold principles that were differing to the most accepted forms of government. The Declaration of Independence said that government is instituted by the approval of the governed. This belief was different from the view held by most of the ruling party of the time. It was believed, and used for defense by most, tha
The beliefs held in the Declaration would be the basis for the overthrow of several governments, and continues to be. They placed all men on an equal status below their Creator, denying the belief that said that the Creator has instituted certain governments to rule over the people. The Declaration of Independence brought forward several new ideas to all men in a public way. Therefore, men are placed by other men of equal position in authority over themselves and their peers for the general welfare of the people. All men, in spite of what status society has given them, are endowed these rights upon their existence and cannot be taken away from them. The Declaration states that this is not to be tolerated. t God instituted governments, and therefore their power should be meek. The Declaration of Independence states that the Creator has created people with equal rights that are not to be deprived from one another. The institution of governments based on the common good, instituted by the common men, would then come as a result of these. This is the inspiration that inspired the authors the Declaration of Independence. These ideas were considered very contrary to what was accepted by most. When government puts itself above the rights endowed by the Creator, by definition in the Declaration, it has placed itself above God. By the logic of the Declaration, these are rebellion against the Creator. The Declaration of Independence states that the government can and should be thrown off if a long train of assumptions put into effect with the design to cut down government to absolute power.
