Huck Finn ch 1-9
Adventures of Huckleberry Finn- Ch, 1-9 In chapters 1-3 when Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn made the band of robbers or Tom Sawyers Gang it could only remind me of when I was a little kid. When you would have clubs and you would be the pretty princesses and you had to pass a test to get in and you would have to sign an oath saying you wouldn?t tell anyone about the club or else you would be kicked out. No, Tom Sawyers Gang was that nice but it reminded me of those times. I can?t even imagine that a child at their age was going around killing people and stealing and yet their mothers/ fathers did nothing about it. Well Miss Watson did and im glad to see that this book shows that kids don?t always get their way because that would put a wrong picture in all the kids minds who read this book. Although Huck hates Miss Watson she is a very good influence upon him. You know you read these books and you see kids who struggle and you see yourself in those shoes. And you remember a few years back when you were struggling and your parents tried to help you and you pushed away just like Huck did with Miss Watson. I wish that sometimes you can go back and take a step back and realize that in the long run they really are trying to help you.
When she had pushed the girl in through the door she stood there in the hallway waiting, hoping we would-well, you see-waiting. Wash was in love, until the day his wife?s mother forced her daughter upon Wash. ??Jehovah of hosts?send to me this night out of the womb of Katherine, a son to be called David who shall help me to pluck at the last all of these lands out of the hands of the Philistines and turn them to Thy service and to the building of Thy kingdom on earth. She wanted to open her heart to being loved, especially by her father. ? ?I doan want to go fool?n ?long er no wrack. But to find a reason within the text as to why this book should not be published is impossible. At any other point of time in the book if Tom showed up I wouldn?t have liked it. ?? They think it?s easy to be a woman, to be loved, but I know better?I understand?perhaps of all men alone I understand. ? It didn?t take me long to make up my mind that these liars warn?t no kings nor dukes, at all, but just low-down humbugs and frauds. Praying at supper and before going to bed, attending church and church events, and reading the bible. He has been a teacher toward Jim teaching him about history and how it is possible that two different people can speak two different languages. And you want to water it with your tears. ? When Tom had his gang of robbers he did not make them tie themselves up and live out the reality of being captured. But is he were to read it now I find it most likely that he will not be bothered by the word ?nigger.
