PART I
CH 1
Gulliver gives some information about his self and his family. Hs is thenn shipwrecked, and swims for his life to a little island. The island was home to the country of Lilliput. He is made prisoner and carried up the country.
CH2
The emperor of Lilliput, accompanied by many of the nobility, comes to see Gulliver. Learned men were appointed to teach Gulliver the language. Gulliver's pockets are searched. His gun and sword were taken from him.
CH3
Gulliver diverts the Emperor and his nobility of both sexes in a very uncommon manner. Gulliver was granted certain liberties.
CH4
Mildendo was described. A conversation between Gulliver and the principal Secretary concerning the affairs of the empire. Gulliver offers his service in the war.
CH5
Gulliver, by an extraordinary Stratagem prevents an Invasion. A high title of Honour is conferred upon him. Ambassadors arrive from the Emperor Blefuscu, and sue for peace. The Empress's apartment caught on fire by an accident; the author instrumental in saving the rest of the palace.
CH6
Description of the Inhabitants of Lilliput; their learning, laws, and customs. The manner of educating their children. Gulliver's Way of living in that Country.And his vindication of a great lady.
CH7
Gulliver, being informed of a Design to accuse him of High Treason, makes his Escape to Blefuscu.
CH8
Gulliver by a lucky accident, finds Means to leave Blefuscu; and, after some Difficulties, returns safe to his Native Country.
PART II
CH1
A great Storm described. The long boat was sent to fetch Water; the Author goes with it to discover the Country. He is left on shoar, is seized by one of the Natives, and carried to a Farmer's House. His Reception there, with several accidents that happened there.
CH2
The farmer's daughter was described. Gulliver was carried to a market-town, and then to the metropolis.
