             Everyone from time to time loses his or her temper and it can be a very violent and ugly thing. Personally it takes a great amount of anger too make me lose my temper. I believe that there is never really a need to lose my temper and it only makes situations much worse then they already are. But there are definitely still times when I am not able too control myself and lash out at others.
             When I lose my temper most of the time it's because of things that other people do or say. I can't stand it when someone puts down another person for just about any reason. I believe that there is enough negativity in this world without people putting each other down. Doing this lowers the person's self-esteem and it could result in serious consequences such as depression or even suicide. Another thing that makes me lose my temper is when someone loses his or her temper and it's directed towards me.
             I become very mad and violently loud when I lose my temper. Sometimes I through objects and break stuff when it's directed toward a specific person. There is usually a good amount of yelling and screaming and I become really hot and I can't control myself. But what I do most is punch things like walls and objects that won't move.
             I have tried many methods to try and calm myself down when I'm losing my temper. I have tried counting down from ten, tapping more forehead 25 times, just walking away and even trying to make myself laugh. But these methods usually don't work for me cause I just lose control and I really don't want to calm down.
             When I finally calm down I can have many different feelings depending on whom I lost my temper at and why and how bad I lost it. Usually when I break things I feel really bad and I try to make up for what I did. When I yell at my mother I always feel bad because she does so much for me that she doesn't deserve to be yelled at.
