Microevolution

Microevolution is a small evolution or change to a specie over a period of generations, which give so many varieties of animals on earth.

In early human history, people would try to explain observable events by noting that they were a natural happenings. Aristotle was one of the first naturalist. He gave great in depth descriptions of the world through his eyes. He believed along with manyo there’s that all organisms were different from the rest. Even though he believed this he still tried to understand what some organisms were for when they had strange roles in nature.

From these early observations, naturalist were made to be aware of nature, but until the 15th century naturalist were only aware of things in nature in Europe. Soon though they would make trips to Asia, Africa, and the New World. Such naturalist like Thomas Moufet were astonished at the vast array of species they discovered in these new areas. After travel was extended around the world scholars created an idea called biogeography. Biogeography means tha

In disruptive selection, there is not many forms of a trait that is a mixture of two extreme traits, but rather the two extreme traits are both very widespread among a specie. He gave way top his Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection which stated that populations could evolve over time when individuals differ in heritable traits responsible for their survival and reproduction. In populations like this all of the organisms tend to drift to having descendants of similar traits causing loss of genetic diversity. A neutral mutation on the other hand, is a mutation that does not affect the well being of the organism and does neither help or harm the organism. There are two types of mutated lethal, and neutral mutation. Lethal mutation is when a allele is mutated and the mutation can cause the organism to die because of the disorder. In stabilizing selection, an evolution favors a certain trait or allele of a specie and when a extremely different allele comes along it is often lost among the population. Genetic drifts are more likely to affect a small population more than a large population. The traits that are widespread through the species that have this selection is that certain traits are more favored according the sex of the organism. This gave to the idea of evolution, or that over time species were changed to better themselves in their environment. Overtime, a weed could become resistance to a pesticide because of mircoevolution and the weed would appear in later generations ensnaring a field of crops. Evolution is something that occurs in a population.

Sometimes, evolutions can always be in one direction.

Organisms can also have mircoevolutions of resistance to pesticides and antibiotics. For example, an organism may constantly through generations evolve from being a pale gray color to becoming a darker and darker color until it becomes a dark brown.
