"The Search for Identity" the topic of my article written by Robert Peel, is not something that can be achieved over night. Rather, one must travel his or her own path in life, slowly but steadily making the right choices.
             However, in today's society many young people are finding themselves being molded into other's expectations. Whether it is peer pressure, high expectations in schooling, or physical appearances, these youths are responding with impatience, arrogance, and fear. According to Robert Peel, these young people need to make the most important decision of their lives to open the Bible and discover their own spiritual identity.
             Finding your spiritual identity involves turning away from these temptations, and blindly following God. The key here is that one must embark on this journey alone. No one can guide you, as you have to search for this identity by yourself, as well as for yourself. Peel believes that one can only bring two things along on this journey, the Bible and Science and Health. These two guides are indispensable in assisting one to find his or her spiritual existence and identity.
             It is only after the awareness of God's love for us is discovered, that every aspect of living can truly be satisfying and comforting.
             Through Christian Science it is believed that everyone has the wisdom, intelligence, and ability to reach a comforting self identity. For it is only when this spiritual identity is achieved that one can be truly happy with his or her life.
             The article "The Search for Identity" was an extremely well written piece of work. Now only was it easily understood, but the flow of the material was especially helpful in assisting the reader on agreeing with the author about spiritual existence.
