The government of United States has reserved a large amount of funds that
go to Rehabilitation and Correctional facilities all over the country.
There are a large number of services provided by these non-profit
organizations. The effectiveness of these services can be measured by
taking a statistical look at the annual crime rate. This paper discusses
how effective the current rehabilitation practices are in correctional
facilities. Previously, correctional facilities have operated in isolation
from the outside the community when developing and implementing programs
and processes for rehabilitation and intervention practices. And various
attempts have been made to create and link programs to the support centers
operating in the communities. There are a number of opportunities which
exist for the creation and implementation of programs and processes based
on community development plans from individual communities. Inventive and
creative methods of rehabilitation and intervention processes are to be
explored and attempted to reduce the endemic levels of indigenous
A Correctional Facility is really a system of facilities that house the
inmates committed to the custody of the Sheriff. The system primarily
includes the Main Jail, the Work Release building, and the Honor Camp. It
also lodges a small number of women inmates who are on work release at
Project Rehab or Pathfinders facilities. In addition to these, the jail
always has a small number of inmates out on Writs that are temporarily
