I hope to attend Richard Stockton College of New Jersey for a number ofcompelling reasons. I know Stockton is a highly ranked college accordingto Barron's "College Profile" and "US News and World Reports," along withmany other sources. This gives me the knowledge I will receive a first-rate education at Stockton, and I know that is quite important for myfuture career and life goals. I also enjoy the campus setting very much,and my interactions with students and staff have both been very friendly,which is something quite important to me. In addition, Stockton is quiteclose to my home, giving me more study time, less commute time, and afeeling of comfort and security that other colleges would not offer. Ifeel Stockton is the right choice for me for my college education. Becauseit is close to my home, I've become quite familiar with the campus and itsreputation, and I feel it is the right
choice for me and my educationalgoals. In addition, I am interested in playing sports, and I know Stocktonoffers an excellent sports program. I believe everyone needs to give somethingback to the community, and I would enjoy helping a non-profit organizationduring my college years. I played (YOU NEED TO ADD THE SPORTSYOU PLAYED IN HIGH SCHOOL HERE), in high school, and I would like tocontinue with these sports in the future. Iknow Stockton has an excellent reputation in all academic areas, and thisgives me the opportunity to seek out just the right opportunities for metoday, and for the future. While I have notactually decided on criminal justice as a major, I also feel attendingStockton would help me put my choices for the future into a clearerperspective, and allow me the chance to sample different academic majorswhile I make my all-important decision about my future career choices. I feel I am a good candidate for Stockton in many ways. I would be proud to attendStockton, and look forward to hearing from you soon regarding yourdecision. I bring a good high school grade average to mycollege experience, and I am looking forward to beginning my highereducation at Stockton. I especially enjoyed myscience and technology classes, and feel I have the analytical skills andattention to detail necessary to complete my degree and continue on in thecriminal justice or other fields. I look forward to the challenges I know highereducation will bring, and I hope to meet those challenges at Stockton. I believe your Criminal Justice program would giveme a well-rounded background for a career in criminal justice, and thatattending Stockton would enhance my career prospects. I think I have good study habits, andthat college, while a challenge, would not pose such a great challenge Icould not overcome it.
