Personal ethical dilemmas are part of everyday life in the realm ofbusiness management. Business professionals are often faced with difficultsituations that demand challenging decisions. These skills include: the ability to effectively manage clientrelationships, conduct appropriate analyses when necessary, ability toidentify the root causes of conflict, openness to partnerships within thebusiness, negotiating skills, conflict resolution skills, technical skills,the ability to build commitment and consensus among employees, projectmanagement skills, public speaking skills, and the ability to facilitatechange as needed. Along with this responsibility comesrespect for the rights and worth of individuals (Dean, 2001). All ethic dilemmas shouldbe addressed through the careful use of analysis and evaluation, withinwhich all pros and cons are measured with particular attention paid to theeffects that a decision may have on other people. At the core of all ethical standards is honesty and integrity.
