Both books expose hypocrisy in society standards, but the second booktakes on bigger societal issues than the first one did. When the slave, Jim, iscaught, Huck and Tom go to great lengths to free him. The second book, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, the authorchallenges society's mores in more significant way.
