Therefore, the employees should be conversant in making newrelations with other external organizations for the competitive advantages. Only when employees are able to understand thebusiness and technological logics, they are able to use their businessprocesses to suit the needs of the ERP. For example, in order to adopt enterprise resource planning (ERP)packages that contain several standard components to suit the needs ofcompany, the employees should understand the business advantages andtechnical capabilities. In this newnetworks environment, focusing on internal operations and strategies alonedoes not determine the success of firms. In addition, the employees are required to create flexibleboundaries for developing the inter-functional and inter-organizationalcoordination. The dynamics of present day competitive environments place increasingpressure on organizations to establish more efficient and tighterinterorganizational business relationships.
