I think that Stephen King is one of the most complete modern writers, who is able to connect to the reader and pass on images, thoughts and perceptions in a very grasping way. This interesting style gives a strong sense of unity among his novels, while leaving them enough independence to be able to be recognized as sole literary works. Some of his works, such as It, for example, are very graphical and well pictured. His books will simply never get you bored, because he manages to narrate so well the story that you simply cannot lay the book down and have to go on with the story. I noticed that, on some occasions, his novels are somewhat interrelated, in the sense that some of the details or characters in one novel may appear in another one.
