Juvenile Capital Punishment: Supportive Analysis

The purpose of this paper is to introduce, discuss, and analyze the topic of capital punishment. Specifically it will discuss why I support juvenile capital punishment. We live in an increasingly violent and angry society, and one of the most disturbing trends in the growth of violence is the growth in youth committing crimes. In the United States, youth under the age of 18 are not considered adults in our society, and yet they are often treated as adults in the court system when they commit heinous crimes, and they can be executed under the death penalty, and there have been cases of juveniles being executed in this country. When a juvenile commits an adult crime, such as murder, they can face capital punishment, and I think that is a fair and binding law.Often, when juveniles commit violent crimes, their defense says they did not understand the consequences of their crime, or they were motivated by something they saw on television or video games. Even if the child was so naive that they thought murder and mayhem on television were not

They would have to be living in a glass ball not to comprehend that, and that is one reason they should face capital punishment if they commit a murder or other serious crime. They are often cold-blooded murderers who think nothing of taking another life. He was sentenced to life without parole instead of death, but who knows what will happen in the future. If a child is that violent, they are only going to grow up to be even more violent and a nuisance and danger to society. In conclusion, while it may be difficult to understand what drives some youth to excessive violence in our society, it has to be stopped, and one way is to employ capital punishment. Finally, there is another consideration about juvenile capital punishment. I would not want to know he was on the loose again, and I think that the death penalty would ensure that, keeping America at least a little safer from some of the most violent members of society. He, along with another man, used high-powered rifles, targeted people, and shot them for no reason. the same as murder and mayhem in the real world, they had to know that this kind of activity is not acceptable or appropriate, no matter what. Take for example, the case of the Beltway sniper, a 17-year-old named John Malvo who teamed up with an adult to randomly shoot innocent victims throughout the Washington D. Gang members should certainly face capital punishment, because they are a dangerous element of society and must be contained somehow to save others from their violence and depravity.
