Who benefits from it?
            
            
             The last drop falls into his mouth. His thirst has been conquered. But is that all it conquered or is there more? The dollar that he put into the vending machine, does it help anyone, or anything? That 30% profit that this boy provided has many useful uses for his school. Having a partnership between beverage companies and schools is very beneficial when there is a lack of fund by the board of education. The partnership grants the school with, better programs, helping the poor family with financial difficulties and a cheaper refreshment drink for their thirst.
            
             Being in a partnership with beverage companies can result in better academic programs and extra curricular activities. The funding from the beverage companies have narrowed down the funding gap by providing grants, scholarships, and employee volunteer programs to local schools. In a recent survey done by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), 30 % school are in worst funding situation than they were five years ago. The partnership with the beverage company generates a great deal of revenue, which is used by the school for Arts/Theater programs, foreign languages, Computer/Other technology and Sports/Physical education equipment. If there wasn't this funding, the ability to extend the students knowledge will be limited. If their knowledge was limited, it will be harder for the students to find jobs and which pays well. Also, 42% of school principals agree on having the contract with the soft drink companies.
            
             Being in partnership with beverage companies also help the poor family who are need of financial difficulties, which is denying their ambitions and aspirations.
