Benefits and Rewards for Employees

             My research will look into the result of the financial element of payment specifically rewards and benefits to employees. The intention of my research is to show the end product of financial rewards and benefits to employees in terms of motivation and retention. The research will add to the existing information by presenting a new outlook on benefits and rewards and what extent the monetary aspect of benefit and reward affects employee motivation and retention.
             Both the employee and management have a significant part in the achievement or failure of the company. Employee contribution is much greater, they must have the knowledge and skills necessary to perform their job function therefore management must find the time and effort to fulfill the employee needs.
             Every person has their own personality and needs; some may be similar, identical or, completely different. Employees, management, Human Resources and all involved must understand the company's benefit and reward system. Although benefit and reward delivers a strong message to employees, nonetheless such small attention to the values on employee benefit is given and the reason they should achieve. You will learn that when leveraged well, both benefits and reward can provide a strategic tool to align employee actions with company objectives. Too commonly benefit and rewards seem worthless because of statements that merely state the obvious. Benefit and reward should be a unique and tangible way of signifying company value and beliefs and does not necessarily have to always be an added expenditure to the employer; if attractive enough both can set a company apart as an employer of choice.
