AdvantEdge Critique
The advertisement I choose for my critique paper is the AdventEdge, the complete nutrition and energy bar. In the ad, there is a looking healthy lady who was stretching her body on the mountain. Behind her, you can the ocean and some green trees. There is a note listing the goals she wants to accomplish when she eats the Advent Edge bar. In her goals, she lists the three essential things such as balance her diet today, have more energy than yesterday, and outrun tomorrow. She circled and highlighted what is important to do first. In the little corner bottom of right hand right side, phone number and website are posted in a small print for those who want to know more about the product. AdvantEdge bar helps you to feel better and have a healthy eating. The color of the sky reminds you not to forget about the nature and the fresh air. The nature and lady are a big part of the advertisement. Eating one AdvantEdge bar can replace one meal. However, they focus on people who want to loose weight. On the bottom left hand side, there is a little paragraph illustrated how AdvantEdge bar reach to your goals and day. As you see the picture, the lady's body gives you a good impression about your physical shape. AdvantEdge can substitute for your meals or snacks. They use the big font to emphasize the main objects to catch people's eyes when they flip through the magazine. The mountain represents the fullness of life. Their customers give good comments about the product. They make you feel full and resist other junk foods. They want to attract everybody who wants to maintain their good health.
