The Abortion Arguments

             In this day and age abortion has become a very controversial subject. Many people have many different opinions on whether or not it should be legal. But it's not a question of wrong or right. It's a question of morals and beliefs. But it goes beyond morals and beliefs, and you must weigh in the facts.
             There are different points of views to see abortion. Have you ever thought what it would be like to be in the shoes of a teenage girl who accidentally got pregnant? Or a rape victim? Or even an adult who just wasn't ready for a kid yet? These people, plus many more in other circumstances, are put in a very difficult position. But then again, put yourself in the position of an 8-week-old embryo, growing in its mother's womb. At eight weeks after conception, this is a baby has a heartbeat and working organs. It has fingerprints, and can also feel pain and react to it. Now, this is where the question of beliefs and morals come in to play.
             Abortion is the premature expulsion of a nonviable fetus from the uterus. There are two types of abortions. These two types are spontaneous abortions and artificially induced abortions. There are many cases in which the embryo or fetus stops developing. When it stops the developing process, the body ejects it. This is called a spontaneous abortion, more commonly known as a miscarriage. This is not a medical procedure, but it happens naturally. When the topic of abortion is discussed it more than likely referring to an artificially induced abortion. Artificially induced abortions mean that the abortion does not occur naturally, but is done by choice. These are the two general types of abortions.
