Endangered species are living organisms whose population are significantly reduced and are threatened to the point of extinction. Many interventions have taken place since then to help the few attempt to regain their numbers of animals. Thousands of species are included in this category, not to mention plants, mammals, birds, amphibians, and reptiles. What would this world come to if no one cared for such scarce breed that was dying off? It can have many damaging effects to the environment. Millions of years before humans, the extinction of organisms was linked to the climate and geological patterns, which made main alternation of the environment. Environmental change is still the primary cause of the extinction of animals, but now the changes have greatly accelerated by human interaction. A few examples include land for farming, lumbering, mining, building dams, and draining wetlands. I had seen wolves when I went up north and my parents told me how hunters and humans threatened them. This topic of wolves means a lot to me. However it offer protection for the wolf than ever before, it overcame by pro-wolf organizations for still allowing some killing of wolves. With many difference of opinion in the north and south of the state, it became an issue of whether Minnesota's wolves were properly classified as "endangered" was a matter of human perspective.
