             Abortion Is The Right Of Every Woman
             Abortion: The termination of a pregnancy before birth, resulting in the death of the fetus. As horrendous and controversial as this is; it is still the right of every woman. The right to decide whether or not to continue a pregnancy. The issue of abortion is one of the most controversial issues ever proposed in the United States. Controversial as it may be, it is still the right of every woman to decide whether or not she wants to continue a pregnancy.
             This became a highly controversial issue in 1973, when the landmark court case, Roe v. Wade, was won in the Supreme Court of the United States; it stated that a woman has a constitutional right to an abortion during the first six months of pregnancy.
             I am not saying abortion is right or wrong, but it is a right of everyone woman. Regardless of my opinion or anyone else's. All the protests against abortion is unfair to women. We as Americans would not stand for anyone trying to take away or freedom of speech, so what makes it right to try to take away a woman freedom to choose. Opinions should be expressed peacefully. It is not up to me to judge anyone for the decisions made about a pregnancy.
             Women should be better informed. They should be fully aware of how the procedure is performed and what exactly this procedure is doing to their body and the fetus. Women should also be told about the aftermath, not only the physical scars, but the
             mental and emotional scars. Once all this has been established and the procedure is done; the only person that is to blame is the person who had the procedure done.
             Abortion, a controversial topic. But regardless of how controversial it is, it is still a right of all women. We all have rights, rights that we want to keep. Taking this right away from women is like taking away any of the other rights we as Americans ha
