Discrimination

Throughout history, wars and bloodshed have occurred in many societies of the world. These wars were fought over religious, racial, or political discrimination! Such discrimination exists in many parts of the world even today, such as India and Palestine. Discrimination at such high levels can have tremendous impact on the psychosocial development of children who face this problem.
In today's world, the social problem of discrimination has not submerged. It exists in many parts of the world such as Palestine, Chechnya, Bosnia, and India. Many will disagree with me and argue that if there is a holocaust today, it's in Israel where it is terrorized daily with suicide bombers, resulting in deaths of innocents. I can totally agree that what is happening in Israel is completely wrong and must be stopped. But living in the United States, we only get one-sided story of the Israel-Palestine conflict. The media makes Palestine seem like the antagonists. It always resembles the Palestinian attacks as "aggression" while Israeli attacks as "retaliation." I do not blame the Americans and most of the people living in USA for thinking that the Jews are once again going through what happened to them during World War II. Their psychosocial development is highly influenced by the media.
Based on my knowledge and my personal views, it is Israel that is the aggressive force. It is Israel that has occupied Palestinian territories since 2000! Palestinians are a "minority" with comparison the Israel. Although, Palestine is geographically part of the Arab world, it has not military support from the rest of the Arabs. Therefore it is segregated and has a mighty powerful Israel to face. Israel has high-tech weapons of all sorts which are designed only to take human life. America, a strong ally of Israel, defends its actions and provides tremendous help for Israel.
