But why? According to some observers, they have achieved phenomenal success for the same reason casino gambling has taken off over the past two decades: Gambling is fun' (Fahrenkopf, 2002)!
             The Hidden Addiction: Compulsive Gambling, Arnie Wexler and Sheila Wexler, "Gambling addiction presents many of the same symptoms and manifests as addiction to alcohol and drugs. Yet the disease can be much more insidious because it is more difficult to detect and can have a more devastating effect on friends and families. It is also growing rapidly and is reaching victims not yet in their teens" (Wexler and Wexler, 1999).
             Two facts presented by the pro side are:
