Fahrenheit 451

Guy Montag, a fire fighter who does not extinguish houses that are on fire, but put out books that they burned along with the houses in them. In Fahrenheit 451 books are contraband. They're illegal and the punishment is the house being burnt down to rubble and in most cases the execution of a poor soul that was in possession of the books or an arrest was made to "restore" justice. Since houses are now fireproofed in the days of the story, the only better thing firefighters have to do now is burn books and put them out. The main protagonist is Mr. Montag. He lives his life with the same routine day after day until he met a young girl named Clarisse McClellan. Who jogs Montag's brain with such conversations that they have. An antagonist presented in the novel was the Fire Chief, Beatty and the Mechanical Hound is one more to add. Montag has been on so many assignments and burnings after one assignment which he had to burn an old woman with her books because she wouldn't leave them behind. In other words she was a martyr for books. It seems that the government (which is not talked about much in the book) does not allow books to be read. In my analysis it seems that books after being read, introduced

Montag gets in fight with Beatty about the whole thing. They're broadcasting the hunt for Guy Montag and to his shock they find an innocent bystander, kill him and pass him off as Montag to satisfy the viewers watching. Montag joined the group of bums the only way he could enter was if he had read a book which he did, The Book of Ecclesiastes. She switches gears a lot through out the whole book. Montag realizes that he's not really living the way that he wants to. He basically made them emotionally upset because while the whole talk he read a poem from a book and they basically freaked out. The opposing powers bombed the city Montag had lived in and all the bums came together to the city to rebuild it, but with books being ok to have and read. It's strange how both Guy and Mildred cannot remember where and how they met to begin with. If it hasn't been burned by then the fire department takes care of it. In Montag's house, the parlor, television really influences people with simple minds that don't question life and just live in "happiness". Montag goes home to see Millie and her girlfriends watching television. Walls can project a screen like a TV. And basically it feeds people pointless thoughts to make them feel that they're living happy and problem free. With Montag being able to recollect things in his thoughts. He talked to Beatty one day and Beatty knew that Montag was up too so in response Beatty said that every firemen had an itch to read a book, they're allowed to read one book then burn it within twenty-four hours.
