             In this report we intend to show the different facets of wana operation as they appear in the print media. This operation was started by the Pakistani armed forces on 9th January 2004 in the South Waziristan Agency. Wana is the district headquarters of this Agency. Hence this operation came to be commonly known as Wana Operation.
