             Chris Smith is very energetic and full of life. Chris is very excited and looking forward to a new challenge as the executive assistant to the chief professional officer at Faith Community Hospital. This promotion is right up Chris's alley, as Chris is a recent graduate of the University of Phoenix. Chris's very first assignment is to put together a preliminary report that will serve as the guide to her boss, Pat's, first employee meeting in ten years. This is quite a task that Chris has been handed, but with the skills gathered at the University of Phoenix, Chris should be able to rise to the occasion and show off all the newfound skills acquired along the way.
             Chris will show off all the newly acquired skills by using the nine-step decision making model to accomplish the first assignment for Pat.
             I have organized and categorized all possible symptoms and in the end it seems to be that they fall into one of the following four categories. Having said that I believe that there are four major problems that need to be dealt with in the staff meeting.
             § Biased or one sided information
             Define criteria, goals and objectives
             This meeting needs to be kept upbeat since the media will be present. We need to focus on the changes that will be put in place as well as celebrate the employees and all the accomplishments of the hospital.
             The goal of this staff meeting is to share with the employees where we are currently, where we plan on going and how we plan to get there.
             The objectives are to give the employees a firm understanding of how the hospital is to be run and to give them the needed tools to perform their jobs.
             The problems outlined above are wreaking havoc in Faith Community Hospital. These problems are causing patients and family members to have too much say in their medical treatment. The patients and family members are at times not doing what is in their best intere...
