Football is a very demanding sport. If you are a strong willed person, who does not mind hard work, then football is the sport for you. I've been playing football for six years and I love every aspect of the game. In this essay I want to encourage you to give football a shot if you haven't already. Many people in this world have only dreams of playing football, but when the dream is over they are left with the regrets of never playing. Lots of people stereotype football players as really big mean people who are very strong and fast. Some of this is true to a certain point. People should give football a shot to see if they have what it takes to be able to tell those great football stories years down the road. There always seems to be a lot of "I wishes" in the conversation. To be an athlete or a competitor, one has to take risks. The job is to be physical, aggressive, and attacking. " I wish I would have played because now that my high school career is over I don't have anything to look back on and be proud of, like football". Sometimes discussions come up with my friends that did not play football just because they did not want to work hard for their dreams. Football teaches discipline and pride in which they will carry for the rest of their life. The two things that make me a risk taker are playing sports and competing with other people. Does anyone really want to be the person saying this ten years down the road? Or do you want to say " remember that hit I put on that kid that knocked him out of bounds and we one the game because of it?"People need to consider themselves risk takers when they play football. If one doesn't then there is really no reason to even participate. If an athlete doesn't take risks, then they will never know what there're truly willing to do for their sport.
