Summer of a Lift Time
I was sitting down with my girlfriend Stacy, an 18-year-old girl who likes to do things on the road. We were talking about what she wanted to do this summer. She said to me one day hey Jeff I think I want to go to Mall of America. So we can go shopping and have like a road trip I think it would me fun. I said to my self-wow that would be great to go there but I wanted to go to Chicago and see things I have always wanted to see like the tallest building and maybe even going in it. I was thinking to my self as if I do not think that she would like this. However, she came out of nowhere. Sure, we can do that but I still have to ask my mom and dad yeah I know I have not ask mine either. One afternoon I was eating in my room and I was thinking about how I was going to ask my parents if I could go to Chicago and Mall of America. So Mom can I go to Chicago and mall of America, no that does not sound good. Mom I was thinking about going to Chicago and Mall of America I don't know about you but I think that sounds the best. Therefore, I ask her she didn't know what to think at first because I didn't really ask anything like that be
She said after I think it over I'll tell you I have to ask your dad too but for right now I think it's a go. Stacy said to me Jeff I don't really think they want to me go at all. When she asked her Mom and Dad they don't had to think about it, in the mean time I had to figure out how I was going to get people to go on this trip with up. 00 or more for one night but I found a ok hotel by Mall of America. When I called Stacy up she was crying and I didn't know why she said that she couldn't go because it was with me and know one else. fore and it would be with my girlfriend. I said that you might not like what I'm going tell you, it's ok you might not like what I'm going to say either. I took her home then I went home and my parents were like how was the trip. Ok I will pack for the both of us, get maps, and see how much money we are going to need. After me talk and told each other what was going on it was time to go I go all my close and supplies together and we were off. After a day or so, I called around asking if they would like to go on the trip with up. Therefore, I called Stacy back and said that to her at first she didn't think it was a good idea then she thought about it and said Jeff I don't know but I'll do it just so we can go. When we got back Stacy and I was so sleepy it seem like we been up for 900 hours but It was only 5 or 6 hours. After a week went past, Stacy called me up and said that her parents said yes, she was so happy she couldn't stop smiling when I went over to see her that day.
