It is well known that two heads are better than one, yet and still there are people not voting. Because there is a high population of homeless people, because people are misinformed, and because people don't vote, there is low voter turn out for presidential elections in modern America. Statistics show that there is a steadily decreasing rate of voter turn outs, in the direction that America is going we are headed for nothing but destruction. "United as one" should not just be a phrase, for all Americans it should have meaning. First, statistics show that the homeless make up over more than twenty-five percent of Amer
Simply because they have no knowledge on the matter they believe this. Second, some people are taught that you should vote and that every person does matter. This was stated because without a legal address a person can't register to vote and without registering, that person will be unable to vote. For whatever reason there are people that just don't vote. Other's just don't feel like it and may put something else in front of voting. This is the part where parents are to blame because they never instilled this type of knowledge into their child's mind, and their parent's never into theirs and so on. Because they weren't raised with these morals and priorities they just brush voting off. With all facts in mind, together we are one and apart we are nothing. Every year the voter turn out decreases by two and a half percent, if this rate continues by the year of two thousand and ten comes over half of the population won't be voting. Some may think that voting is pointless and dumb. In some cases people may forget or just couldn't make it because of some type of life crisis or situation. In conclusion, there is a low voter turn out for our presidential election in modern America because there are way too many homeless, people are ignorant to the matter, and people just don't vote. Furthermore, because people don't vote there is a low voter turn out for presidential elections in modern America.
