LSD

             1) Albert Hofmann first created the odourless, colourless and tasteless Hallucinogen, Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) in 1938; from a fungus, ergot that grows on grains, such as rye. He hoped that it would stimulate blood circulation but his tests proved that it did not achieve this target, and in effect he left it alone. A few years later in 1943, Hofmann experimented with it again, he prepared it in water and drank some. He felt it's typical psychedelic effects and LSD was born.
             2) LSD is a very powerful drug that alters the behaviours and perceptions of the subject to an incredible extent. It is so powerful in fact, that just 0.01mg of the drug, can manifest it's effects., The Actuall effects of the drug usually clear up after 12 hours and are unpredictable relying on the amount taken; the subject's personality, mood, and expectations and surroundings. The drug mainly effects the mental perceptions rather than physical. Typical effects include:
              The User feeling several different emotions at the same time or having many violent unpredictable mood swings
              Strong visual and audio hallucinations
              The user becoming delusional
              Distorted sense of time and space
              The sense of "crossing over" perceptions – Seeing sounds and hearing colours

             While these effects generally clear up 12 hours after they have been taken, certain instances called flashbacks are sometimes felt, which are recurrences of the LSD's effects even though the drug may have never been taken again.
