Aristotle

             Aristotle was a Greek philosopher who had his own ideas and opinions.
             Plato was Aristotle's teacher for 20 years. He questions justice in
             Aristotle taught Alexander the Great- a ruler. We come to believe that
             Aristotle and Alexander reviewed a lot about justice and were important
             Oligarchy is a government governed by a few people. These few were
             related closely based on inequality and military status. These few were
             not equal and were thought to best govern this way.
             Democracy is a government governed by many people. These many were
             related by being wealthy- less wealthy- and poor. The people governing
             were all equal and were thought to better govern this way.
             Oligarchy and democracy both believed women and slaves have no voting
             rights. It doesn't matter to us which of these governmental styles are
             Aristotle believed that all men cling to justice, and worry about being
             treated as unequal. He also believes that it is better for the entire
             community to have a vote and opinion. He puts people first, and
             believes one man can't make decisions for another man. Aristotle also
             believes that in the nature of equality people are bad judgers of
             Aristotle had come to find that the state begins with the family-
             proceeds to the village, then to the surrounding community, then ending
             at the state in a union of families.
             Aristotle feels that there can only be justice in a democracy. He feel
             it is better to be ruled by the many because there is a collective
             wisdom. All in all justice means- fair, proper, and meet- total
             inequality. Easier spoken than written.
