As the world begins to age and a rapid spur of adolescents, the rate of violence has increased tremendously. With the help of the media, social environments, celebrity icons, and parental supervision, a more promoted approach to violence has infused most of our youth. With the assistance of non-profit organizations, recreational centers, and camps, positive aspects can detour young minds out of the violent haze.

The media is what has molded many of today's youth due to the absence of parents at home or a adult figure to teach right from wrong. As a young child many kids adapt to the television as a source of learning and fun. Without guidance of certain programs to watch at a young age, then it can result in the child learning violent aspects on the television as being right. The media endorse sex and violence to the youth to sell big, in return promoting adolescents to indulge themselves with violence to be apart of the "in" crowd.

The people who children allow themselves to hang around can affect their responses and actions to situations. A child who is usually a loner and anti-social is more prone to violence versus a child who is very social and vibrant. With many of celebrities ending up lock behind bars many young kids look upon their "icons" as doing the right thing which can sometimes be violence.

The best and most effective way to combat youth violence is by requesting assistance from non-profit organizations, recreational centers, and camps to help the youth to focus on positive aspects.

Parental supervision can also heavily affect violence amongst the youth. Violence could be a factor to this acceptance and peer pressure can be highly regarded as a result of violence. As many celebrities debate about the issue of being a role model, many of them affect young youth minds on what’s right to do. Many children idolize many celebrities and feel the best way they could connect to their idol is becoming them. With the help of non-profit organizations, recreational centers, and camps this battle can be decreased in a positive way.

Technically tied with the media, celebrity icons can also be a source of the increase of violence within the youth. Many who lack parents in the household result to leaving the home and becoming a runaway or joining a gang that gives them a family feeling. The parent's behavior can also result in violence among the child. Many people are killed and many of our kids end up behind bars before their teenage years. For instance, a child who wants to be accepted and feels they want to fit in will go out anything in their power to be accepted. They also setup brother-to-brother systems that partner up trouble teens with a guidance role model figure that helps them evaluate their life and make better decisions.
