For century, freedom of speech will always be a topic that everyone loves to debate. It is a transformation that we find for ourselves and it is a portrait of respect we expect to have in our path. An opportunity of rights we want others to treat us equally. A norm of cost we make sure to protect and more to come. This is the beginning case of a young nineteen year old girl who named Amy. She attended a private college; where she found her private emotion has been invaded by the college library.
For twenty years, the college library where Amy attended for school have been hanged a portrait of Heinrich Himmler. She found very intimidate by this portrait. She can't believe such private school would do such thing. Hanging a Nazi leader of Heinrich Himmler in middle of the library hall where everyone would not miss it as they walking by. Amy felt hurt of Himmler's portrait appearance and ignorance of the librarian in this library. Amy suggested the library removed the picture down or stored in another private place instead of the library hall. The librarian denied her requests and suggested that Amy has invaded in their First Amendment Act. Amy became shocked as she felt her individual's right has been offended. She confused and hurt with the feedback from the librarian.
For the first time, Amy felt her freedom of right was really invaded by the library. She was denied of an equal act. She felt evil Himmler's should not stand high in that library hall. Instead the library can put a portrait of President Lincoln or Musician Beethoven on that wall. However, the library chose to put evil Nazi Heinrich Himmler, who had killed and destroyed over ten million Jewish. Amy's disgusted with the historical passed that Himmler's had done to million Jewish. To her, Himmler was just someone who horrified and murdered.
