Music and its effects on teens
There has been question for years if music has an effect on teens whether positive, negative, little, or none. I don't believe that music has an effect on teens. As teens, we use music to get away from lifes everyday problems... not to create more. Parents may sometimes use music to explain their childs violent behavior when infact, that isn't the Parents suggest that music is to blame for all of teens violent ways and behaviors. This is also important because teenagers seek music as an outlet from problems in life, yet the media and parents believe that rap and rock music is to blame for teenager's problems. This isimportant because they say that rock bands like KoRn and Limp Bizkit give kids negative thoughts and make teens act out in violence. Everyone tries to find a logical explanation for everything that happens when infact they could possibly be wrong. Each day the media comes up with more and more outrageous stories about how music, artist, CD's, genres, etc. This is also important because the only way rock influences teenagers is on what they wear. Another example is how suicide is a serious subject for todays youth in America and all over the world. Rock is another type of music that is critized often by the media. negativelyeffect the youth--teens to be exact. criminals come from dysfunctional families, which would explain why a person would turn to crime in life. As a result, kids that wear baggy pants, large shirts, and long necklaces with five inch pendants usually listen to rap. Music is a part of everyday life.
