             1. Norm Violation – acts and conditions that violate the norms and values present in society.
             Ex. When someone commits a crime, or breaking the rule that many people follow.
             Social conditions- societal induced conditions that cause psychic and material suffering for any segment of the population.
             Ex. When health care is mal distributed, when poverty persist for millions, when tax laws permits a business to off 50 percent of a 100 dollar luncheon but prohibit a truck driver from writing off a sandwich.
             Commits to viable universal problems
             Ex. Saying "Having no child left behind" is easy to talk about, but put forth the policies and funding for the program.
             Provide for people that cannot provide for themselves
             We should teach the people how to take care of themselves rather than giving them money to take care of themselves.
             Favors federalism that favors devolution to lowest levels of government
             Enhance more obligations that are not like other people, (Different opinions) and other children. Enhance the moral obligation to diverse neighbor and there children.
             Doesn't hesitate to redistribute societal resources
             Take the money out of the people that have money and put it in the hands of the people who don't have money.
             Many aspects of social problems are conditions resulting from cultural and social arrangements. Social problems are usually created through our own design and solved by the people. The focus is on power because the powerful, by making and enforcing laws, create and define deviance. They determine which behaviors will be rewarded and which ones will be punished. The powerful influence of public opinion, they can attempt to solve them or ignore them.
