Shall We Dance
The movie "Shall We Dance" was an interesting movie. Shohei Sugiyama is a successful Japanese businessman with a new home, a faithful wife, and a pleasant daughter. Yet he feels something is missing from his life. Every night on his way home from work, he gazes up at Mai, a former professional dancer who's lost her passion for competing. Summoning the courage to meet her, he signs up for ballroom dancing classes, but then learns that Mai only gives private and very expensive lessons. Thus, Shohei and several other beginners take their class with Tamako an older instructor, and he watches his mystery lady from across the room. At the beginning he's clumsy and awkward, but soon begins to enjoy his new pastime. His wife, however, becomes suspicious of his long absences from home, and hires a private de
Mai's ex partner teaches her and 3 months later, they enter a tournament and they find out that Mai and Shohei were one of their competitors. Shohei's wife doesn't get what he's trying to do and stumbles and falls because she's too careless. Due to Mai's ex partner's teaching, Shohei's wife becomes good at dancing and they beat Mai and Shohei by a couple points. Shohei gets mad at his wife and starts yelling at her, while every one is laughing at Shohei for what his wife did. He asks again and this time she accepts because her partner was being a moron by laughing at Shohei. Shohei's wife asks Mai's ex partner to dance so she can perfect her dancing, Mai's ex partner decides to teach Shohei's wife how to dance and make her one of the best dancers. As Shohei becomes good enough to enter competitions, he must deal not only with his wife's concerns, but also with his attraction to Mai and to ballroom dancing. So mai accepts to dance with Shohei to get her ex partner mad. Every one starts to dance again and they slowly forgot what happened to Shohei's partner and Mai's partner. But Shohei really wants to show Mai what he has learned through out all the dance sessions he's been.
