George W. Bush's World view
George Walker Bush was born on July 6, 1946 in New Haven, Connecticut. George W. is the oldest of 5 siblings: brothers Neil, Jeb, and Mervin, sisters Dorothy and Robin. His parents were George (Former US President) and Barbara Bush. When George W. was two, his family moved to Odessa, Texas and his father began to work in the oil business. He is now married to Laura Welch whom he met in Midland. Together, they have two twin daughters, Barbara and Jenna. This new Bush family lived in Midland, then in Dallas, and then in Washington when George Sr. ran for President in 1988. Bush attended Phillips Academy prep school at Andover, then for his undergraduate attended Yale where he majored in history, playing baseball and rugby, while a member of the secret Skull and Bones society. Bush continued his education at Harvard where he obtained his MBA in 1975. Before receiving his MBA however, George W. Bush was a pilot in the Texas Air National Guard from 1698 until 1973. George Bush started out in the West Texas energy business researching who owned mineral rights. Then, after starting his own business called Arbusto Energy, Spectrum 7 Energy Corporation bought it. Harken Energy Corporation acquired Spectrum 7 in 1986, after Spectrum
Bush is not one to sit around and wait for things to happen; he makes things happen. and the rest of the world know what his plan is. People don't have to like it; it's his opinion and should not be overlooked for any reason. Although Bush upsets a lot of people with his views, he makes clear what his views are and what he believes, he has justifications through what he believes and that makes his world view valid. In this year, Bush's Oil Business was shaky, and so were his drinking habits. Nowadays so many people are bent on being so politically correct in every aspect that they aren't able to for their own true, hear-felt opinions, because they are afraid they will offend someone. George Bush believes in something and sticks to it. That day, Bush officially swore off alcohol. His sister Robin had died of leukemia just two months before her 4th birthday. I believe that the view of George Bush would have better success a couple hundred years ago, if not during WWI or WWII. Bush has given, many speeches and created many policies in the past four years. Bush is not one to sit around and wait for things to happen; he takes action when it's needed. I also agree with Bush in that time is precious. Enough time had been wanted by Saddam's uncooperative attitude. Although he has received an immense amount of criticism, he sticks for what he believes and doesn't back down.
