Music Crushes Racial Boundaries

Hip-Hop music better known as Rap music was the most popular influential and controversial form of black and Latino music to emerge in the Bronx in the early 1970s. He is also a proof, of how Hip-Hop music can affect teenagers in a positive or negative manner, depending in their personal perception of his lyrics.

Music is what wakes us up in the morning, makes us want to dance, and calms us when we’re feeling unhappy about something. Also, most teenagers tend to interpret their favorite songs as being about "love, friendship, growing up, life’s struggles, having fun, cars, religion, and other topics that relate to teenage life” (Impact of Music Lyrics).
