Happy Halloween-Creative Essay

             If I reached that one house, where the neighbors give away money instead candy, my night would be fulfilled. I had to take my brother and his friends trick or treating for Halloween, and that was no joy ride. I would chase them down the street, around the corner, and across lawns, because they say that they saw an attractive house. Consequently, I would chase them again because a six-foot goblin with green eyes, warty skin, pointy ears, and a Golden State Warriors basketball hat, popped up from behind a bush of dead spiders. I have never laughed so hard. Their frightened faces cut the air as they were running for their dear lives. It was torture, yes, I understand that. However, who wouldn't share my amusement?
             From a distance of where I was standing, the lights of every other house were on, as if they were welcoming signs for all sorts of creatures to grab candy from these complete strangers. Some strangers who passed candy such as: Snickers, Dum Dums, Starburst, M&Ms, and other assorts, were wearing costumes themselves to scare the little ones. Some invited the monsters inside the house to get a horrendous experience with the most eerie haunted house in the neighborhood.
             Candy wrappers laid upon the sidewalk and so did a kid sized rabbit. The same well-worn, six-foot goblin that scared my brother and his friends startled the rabbit so horribly that it caused him to faint. A tall, ravishing woman, what looked like his mother, ran by his side. I tried to help her with anything that I could, but a man pushed me out of the way and poured water on the rabbit's face. The little rabbit sprouted up gasping for air. However, as soon as he glanced at that lofty goblin, his floppy eared coconut hit the pavement for a second time. Once more, I chuckled.
