"survivor"

So far this year, I’ve read two books. “Survivor”, by Chuck Palahniuk, and “Princess in the Spotlight”, By Meg Cabot. The first book, Survivor, is about a man called Tender Branson. This book is 289 pages, but I only got to page 270. Tender was the last surviving member of a Creedish death cult. Throughout the story, he is explaining his life story form the cockpit of a plane 39,000 feet somewhere over the Pacific Ocean. He is all alone in the airplane, which he knows will soon crash. But before he plunges to his fiery death, he explains his life story. In his childhood, he belonged to a Creedish society which practiced unorthodox rituals and was eventually broken up. After “recovering” the cult, Tender began working for some rich snobby people, and transformed from a humble, obedient child to a bitter person. He got

What a hectic life for an adolescent!!

. Her mother didn’t like the idea of this nor did her algebra teacher. She later dies of being exposed to fumes and he is obviously blamed. There is school, friends and now, her new found royalty to juggle. He met a girl names Fertility Hollis, and developed an obsession with her. He has a caseworker who is constantly watching him making sure he doesn’t kill himself. He goes on television and tells the future all thanks to his friend Fertility who has dreams about future disasters. She hopes it’s her best friend’s brother, but later find out it’s the weird kid from her class. a schedule from them everyday and found ways of avoiding his work or making it easier by using cheap temporary solutions. They decided to secretly elope at the last minute. Her mother and father were divorced, and her whole life her being a princess was kept a secret to her. Later she finds out her algebra teacher impregnated her mother and they are to be married. He became known as the last survivor and a “messiah”. He went from an ugly outcast to a well known media messiah complete with a fake tan, buff arms, and drug addiction.
