Hinduism and Christianity are both religions that have been around for thousands of years. There were many commonalities between the lives of these two beings. In contrast, Christians believe that Jesus is the only way, the truth, and the life. Both believe in resurrection- Christians believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ and Hindus believe in the resurrection of Krishna. Both religions believe in a future reward in heaven or punishment in hell. They both require faith in the Savior for salvation. Hinduism believes in their Savior, Krishna. At birth, they were both visited by wise men and shepherds. They both had the power of healing. In addition, the act of being born again is included in both Christianity and Hinduism. One of the most differing ideas between these two religions is the subject of death. Jesus Christ and Krishna descended into Hell, and were resurrected.
