Silence Of the Lambs good evil

Everyday man is plagued with the issue of weather to do good or to do evil. Although society constantly persuades us to be good, still evil lurks. Dr. Hannibal Lecter and James Gumb play the role of evil while Clarise Starling and Jack Crawford play the role of good. Society and even more so religion teach us that good always defeats evil. In this case good and evil become allies and saves the day. Although the classic way of solving crimes is the good guy finds and catches the bad guy. This novel uses Dr. Lecter, who is bad, to help catch Mr. Gumb. The characters behavior in this book just goes to show you how deeply complex humans can be. Jack Crawford has the initials J.C. for Jesus Christ and Hannibal Lecter has H.L. and when you say that it sounds like "hell". In the middle of both of them comes Clarise. Clarise Starling who is still in training to become part of the FBI, is being used by Jack Crawford to help with the Buffalo Bill case. The Buffalo Bill case is a serial murder investigation. Since the FBI didn't have any leads of the case and they are having a hard time analyzing the potential murder. Jack Crawford asks Clarise who is an attractive women to intervie


Clarise is the protagonist in the book, and the majority of the story line takes place from her point of view. His eyes held Starling whole" (Harris 16). She uses these flashbacks as a source of courage and they give her the strength of will to accomplish whatever task it is she is about to perform. At first Clarise was intimidated and scared of Lecter. This takes place periodically through the book. Lecter was hooked up to the monitors the entire time. If you upset me, you'll have to stay bundled up until I feel better toward you.
