             The world is full of criminals; People who break the law for whatever reason. Some criminal's intent is to harm a specific person, for revenge, some criminals simply want money, and some criminals don't even mean to be criminals, it's just an accident. Some crimes do not have defined victims, while others are obvious victims. Sometimes, the defense attorneys make the victim feel like a victim more than once by making them question their own reputations. Crime in America is varied greatly. From the victim being a woman who was stabbed seven times, walked two blocks, then died at the police station, to a group of men being arrested for child pornography.
             There is far too much crime in the United States. The crime rate has fluctuated, and not gone down a significant enough amount to keep law enforcement happy. The crime rate has not really gone down enough to make anybody happy. Some criminals make crime their life, and spend ears perfecting their technique. These criminals think that they are not wrong, and it all evens out in the end. If something breaks the law, it is wrong, no matter what it is. That doesn't even include any moral issues that someone could have, although if the criminal is making crime their life, morals might be a little bit too foreign a concept for them.
             Some of the lawbreakers think that they are too good to get caught, and truth of the matter is, a lot of the criminals will not be caught, which is why when a criminal is caught, it is such a big deal, and an example is made out of them, even if the crime is not that serious. Crimes are crimes; they should be punished. Criminals should learn from what they did, but they should not learn to be better criminals, they should learn to be better citizens and to actually contribute to society instead of being a burden to it. The areas that had really high crime rates, and got tough on it, the crime rates dropped drastically. They became safer...
