Moderation Brings Happiness
As Moliere once said in The Would- be Gentleman, "A wise man is superior to any insults which can be put upon him, and the best reply to unseemly behavior is patience and moderation." This made it easier for them to instill values in the people of ancient Greece. " Trust was extremely important back then and still is today now. Her extreme jealousy of Creon's daughter is what ultimately ruins her. They strongly believed that a life of moderation held many rewards. Jason also shows how balance is important in life. The Chorus speaks to him saying, "You caused these things. moderation and explaining to them that life in moderation holds more rewards.
