Sports industry

Athletes work so hard to try to fulfill their dream and win a title, because of that we love to watch them, indeed it is exciting. In today's world, athletes are earning so much money thanks to their greatest fans spending thousands and thousands of money to purchase a ticket and enter the stadium just to watch them compete. Some fans admire their team or player so much that they would buy their products and watch the game to "show" their respect and support. The teams and players must be making so much money you might ask, in fact, only the athletes make the most of it, because almost all the profits from the tickets and products go to the athletes, hence this may lead to a problem which might force the organization of the team to slowly fade away and eventually vanish, more over, It might also lead to the fans to be bankrupt just by feeding the athletes. Athletes are earning more than they should be earning. As the sports industry has grown, a ticket to watch a sport event is almost unaffordable. Everyone would spend a range of fifty to two thousands dollars just to get a seat in the stadium and watch their favorite team or players play. Why is it so expansive while the game can only entertain the spectators for two to three ho

That causes nineteen of the league thirty teams last season had lost averaging eighteen million and the remaining eleven teams had earned only six million in profits. Athletes are well overpaid and they are causing a lot of troubles, unfortunately, we are just unable to see it without looking into it. A pair of Nike shoes might cost from a range of sixty to one hundred sixty or more, in fact, they only costs ten to twenty dollars to make one, so with all the profits, at least sixty percent of it goes to the athletes and the remaining goes to the company. In the near future, this trend will continue to blow away the teams, in addition they will eventually collapse and finally joining the bankruptcy list. With the big names, the company's respect from the consumer has gained quite a lot already. It certainly does not affect the players because they can play for other leagues in any where else. Athletes' incomes are too high that is actually causing so much trouble to the fans and the teams. Yes there is no doubt helping the team and yes indeed, they are bringing the spectators entertainment, while this may be true, in the end, who is really happier? The players who only played twenty to thirty minutes a game and already earned a high salary of millions a game from the tickets, or the spectators who paid forty to thousand dollars a game and might even leave with a disappointment because their favorite team lost? For the middle class family, it is nearly impossible to pay for a single ticket to watch the game, as they will only be able to watch the game via TV. He is a star player but he is not worth that much, a healthy player can play a full eighty two games season, however, their playing time are actually limited from twenty to thirty minutes. For instance, look at the players in the NBA, like Kobe Bryant, he will be making at least a hundred million in the next five seasons. Though, the product plays no part what so ever in becoming a better athlete. Furthermore, the team had lost most of their home games, fans turned them down and stopped buying tickets to watch the game. So, to spend so much money watching a game got to be one of the most luxurious things to entertain yourself. Secondly, athletes will be paid to produce commercials and it will be played everywhere in the world depending on the popularity of the sports and the player in different countries.
