The value of a college education is very important. The value of being able to have the confidence, organization, imagination, determination, and devotion is what employers are looking for. Sure you could have some of these of these skills, but to have all of these skills will put you on the right track to a better career. Having a better career will be very beneficial to the person that took the time to get the power that they need to succeed.

Each of us has the ability to get a college education. A college education is decided between each person whether they want it or not. Some people don’t want to take the time to try and better themselves. Maybe they don’t understand what they are missing. People tend to get comfortable in what job they are doing or the money that they are making. Do they know that they could have a much better life if they did go to college and receive a degree? After all of the hard work is over and a person has a college degree, a person will have the confidence in presentations, communication, learning and writing. The engineer might be creating a bridge that is two hundred miles long and fourteen lanes wide and could handle a million pounds per square foot, while the businessman might have a six-sigma project that is making a certain type of French fry. Like making an outline before writing a paper, if you have an outline then you are less likely to get off the track that you wanted to maintain. An imagination will give you the special characteristics that make you, you. There are many skills a college education could give you. Writing skills are a must for being successful and confident. Make sure you start a project and finish it before you move to another project.

Determination is learned or acquired during a person’s life. If a person is asked to go to a party the night before a big paper is done, they have to have the maturity to say no and finish the work that they are responsible for. This will in-turn gives the company more money.

Having the right organizational skills might take a little bit more time at the start but it will decrease the time it takes to do a certain project. Most of the time determination is learned at school, whether a person in sports or on the chess team. This is one of the causes for human resources to have their job. Whether you are going to college for an engineering degree or a business degree you will still need the imagination to create your world.
