Inner Journey How does the author dissplay journey using tec

THE CONCEPT OF INNER JOURNEY TRAVELS THROUGH LITERATURE... Literature displays many concepts within a single story. The characters are real life people who we, as the audience can relate to. But why do we always engage into the characters life? Why do we want to know what happens next? Author/ composers use several techniques to send their characters on personal inner journeys. Making them learn life lessons from the experiences within the text. The thing which we really want to know is how the author presents the concept of inner journey to the audience through words. Whether in film or novel. The reader always wants to learn the experiences and lessons with the character. The inner journey always engages the audience way beyond the words. But, how is the question. Sally Morgan has incorporated several family members' stories including Arthur's, Glady's and Daisy's within the main structure of her personal story My Place, she joins a story within a story. This allows the individual to express different point of views through releasing their secrets and emotions concerning their aboriginality. By doing this the characters is taking the audience on their personal inner journey


You know how we speak English, well she doesn't. She has came to terms with her culture and accepted it is time others needed to know how she was treated and her feeling about events within her life, which took her on a inner journey and made her the person she was. She changes within her self through this journey. and reflecting the effect of their experiences through the remaining of sally's story, through the contrast in the attitudes to certain situations, especially their culture. She was lied to all her childhood, told she was "Indian" by her mother instead of "Aboriginal". It is because of these that we want to continue reading, want to know what happens next as we go on the journey with the character, experiencing the major aspects of the journey as the character does. He changes his appearance by waring different clothing, something different than black, removing his piercing and becoming a positive member of the family by wanting to spend time with family members especially his father. When the house is first knocked down his inner journey has started as for he is starting a relationship with his Son, Sam. The separate stages have different meanings. Meaning she is alone and has no direction. As the house is constructed another step of Georges inner journey has been completes.
